Follow an archaeological project set in the rivers and swamps of Chatham County, Georgia. This project is the largest industrial archaeological project to be undertaken in recent times - the vision of the Savannah-Ogeechee Canal Society. Two massive locks on the canal (there were six in all) will be restored to full working condition (eventually) after careful archaeological excavation.
